What are cast stone plinths?
A cast stone plinth forms the base of a building or structure and can also be a base of another component, such as a column, statue, pedestal or free-standing feature. In landscape architecture, plinths can be used to provide a striking base for features such as raised beds, planters or garden ornaments. Supplied as individual units, cast stone plinths can also be used as the perfect feature to form the base of a wall and break up brickwork, providing interesting architectural details.
